Australian and NSW Crime Commission Proceedings

Whether or not the Australian or NSW Crime Commission considers you as a ‘person of interest’ in their investigations, we can help. You may be allowed to have a lawyer present if you are required to attend an examination summons. You will generally receive very short notice of your requirement in these proceedings, and it is important that you obtain legal advice as soon as you receive the summons.

Crime Commission proceedings can be lengthy, and in some circumstances, very expensive. At LY Lawyers, we consider ourselves experts in finalising these matters expediently and without the excessive costs court proceedings.

Freezing Notices

If your assets have been the subject of a ‘freezing notice’, you may have the right to object to the making of the freezing notice, thus freeing those assets to allow you to do what you wish with them.
